How do I order?

While browsing our website you can add products to your shopping cart.

Once you have finished selecting your products, proceed through to the checkout.

Your personal and payment details will be collected at checkout and your card or Nett Terms Account will be billed when goods are ready for dispatch (excludes special order items).

Although it is preferred you place orders online, we do accept emails for orders with special requirements, bulk buys or items not listed on our website. 

  

 

How do I pay for my order?

Payments can be made using the following methods:

  • Credit Card
  • PayPal
  • Shop Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

 

 

Can I make changes to my order once processed?

Once your order is placed it is automatically sent into our warehouse system for processing. Once we begin processing your order we are unable to amend it. If you wish to cancel your order please contact us immediately. We will make every effort to accommodate your request however due to our automated warehouse process this may not be possible.

 

 

Do I get a tax invoice?

Yes. Jay-Dee Trade will issue a tax invoice for all items purchased. Once checkout is completed a copy will be sent with your goods. Tax invoices include GST and freight charges.

 

 

Is there a minimum order value?

No, there is no minimum order value, but some products may require you to purchase a minimum order quantity.

What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock?

Jay-Dee Trade endeavours to have most items in stock. This allows most orders to be dispatched within 24 hours from the time your order is placed.

Unfortunately, there are occasions where we may run out of stock or only partially fill your order. In this situation we will contact you to advise of any backordered items.

Your options for backorders:

  • We can partially ship your order, sending the balance when it arrives (no additional freight charge), We will contact you if the delay is going to longer than expected
  • We can offer a part or full refund if we cannot supply some or any of the goods

Our liability is limited to a refund of the purchase price and any associated shipping costs. We can give no guarantee of future availability of any item listed on our website.

 

 

What happens if my order is incorrect?

Please contact us immediately via our Contact page with details of the issue you are experiencing. Please include your name and relevant order number or invoice number. We will examine the issue and then advise you of the best course of action via return email.

 

 

How do I create an account?

You will find a sign up form when you head to the Login/Register tab in the menu or click here.

 

 

Can I apply for a credit account?

You must already have a trade customer account with Jay-Dee Auto Cables before applying. Please contact us via our Contact page for more details on the application process.

What happens if I forget my password or am having trouble logging into my account?

Please contact us immediately via our Contact page with details of the issue you are experiencing. We suggest resetting your password by clicking the ‘Forgot Password?’ link. If you are still having trouble, please email our Customer Service Team who will be able to reset your password for you.

 

 

I want to change my password; how do I do this?

When you are logged into your Account, you can change your password under the ‘Change Password’ tab in the menu.

 

 

I want to change my email address; how do I do this?

Please email our Customer Service Team who will be able to change your email address that is linked to your account for you.

Please note that this email must match the email address listed on your Jay-Dee Auto Cables account.

  

 

Will my items be covered by a warranty?

Most items will have at least a 12-month manufacturer's warranty.

Manufacturer's warranty does not cover:

  • improper use
  • modification
  • poor or incorrect installation
  • wear and tear

but does cover things that are caused by the manufacturing process like faulty electronics or waterproof items leaking water, as an example.

The warranty period commences on the date of the tax invoice received with your goods.

Do you offer bulk or special pricing?

If you have a large volume requirement, please contact us and we will be happy to quote on your requirements.
