Before writing the word June in this edition of Watts News, I was pretty sure winter was officially here, because my 16 y/o son wore long pants for the first time this year.  Also with the amount of cable, lights and accessory plugs we have sent out recently, I can only assume you have all been finishing off Grey Nomad setups so they can head north to avoid the cold.  Wouldn’t it be nice to be so young that you don’t notice the cold, or better still, old enough to feel it, but not too old that you can’t escape from it.

Once again this year appears to be flying bye, but at least May should give us a good run at getting things done with no public holidays in sight.  The good part about all the days off though, is of course having more time to spend with family and friends, and while Easter is still sacred to some, it’s an excuse for most people I know to eat chocolate for breakfast and to attend Good Friday Appeal functions to raise money.

As there is no good football to speak of yet, Bloody Carlton, I thought I would give you a wrap up of the www.brighterdays.org.au.  In short, it was GROUSE! Our Cotton Ball ride to Bright had over 250 entrants in convoy, which raised in excess of $5000 on top of our sponsorship and raffle tickets. The number of people in Bright grew exponentially over the weekend with a crowd of 10,000 plus at the last night’s concert.
